Dr. Roy Magnusson, Chief Medical Officer at John A. Burns School of Medicine ![]() Monday, October 25, 2010 As the Chief Medical Officer for a growing John A. Burns School of Medicine faculty practice (University Clinical, Education & Research of Associates), I view the transition to electronic health records as absolutely critical to achieving our goals. Having the right information at the right place and at any time is essential to providing outstanding clinical care. National trends in measuring and reporting quality, pay for performance, and the formation of accountable care organizations are driving our group to rethink our priorities and place the electronic health record very high on list. We look forward to working with Hawai‘i Health Information Exchange and physicians across the state in our collective efforts to serve our patients well. --Dr. Roy Magnusson Comments Beth - Honolulu, Hawaii - Tuesday, November 30, 2010 2:51 AM Thank you, Dr. Magnusson, for your helpful feedback!
